People and Culture Coordinator
Interlachen Country Club is seeking a People and Culture Coordinator. The People and Culture Coordinator supports the Head of People and Culture with payroll administration, process management, and various HR tasks. They also assist with onboarding and support team member engagement initiatives. The People and Culture Coordinator works closely with team members and department leaders to ensure smooth HR operations and a top workplace experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations
Leadership:
- Live our values and foster a positive work environment.
- Build strong relationships with fellow managers to support collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
- Visit team members in their workspaces to collect and connect dots, attending department meetings and pre-shifts to share HR updates and information.
- Volunteer to be a helping hand to the team in operations, finding opportunities to work side-by-side with team members to understand their work and build trust.
- Assist with special projects such as team training, classes, engagement opportunities, and recognition and appreciation initiatives.
Hiring & Onboarding:
- Assist with the hiring process for team members during busy seasons. Send offer letters, background checks, and paperwork to new team members, keeping hiring managers apprised of the status of paperwork completion.
- Support onboarding new team members, including first-day orientations, new hire paperwork, and HRIS (Paylocity) set-up.
- Update the team job and message boards.
Payroll & Benefits:
- Assist the Head of People and Culture with processing payroll bi-weekly, coordinating with department leaders to ensure accuracy.
- Manage team member records using Paylocity and assist in Paylocity troubleshooting, app technical issues, password resets, etc.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and changes.
- Support HR training sessions and benefits presentations.
HRIS Management & Compliance:
- Help ensure accurate timecards and assist department leaders with clock-in/out edits.
- Process hiring, termination, pay, and transfer requests on Paylocity, ensuring timely changes.
- Maintain the privacy and security of all team member records, including coaching notes, personal files, and I-9 forms.
- Stay current on local and federal employment law changes. Communicate updates, suggest changes, and revise/implement new processes as necessary to the Head of People and Culture.
- Manage work-related injury claims, ensuring proper reporting and case follow-ups.
- Help update the team member handbook and workplace policies. Ensure all processes are followed and communicate with leaders on the next steps.
- Partner with the Head of People and Culture to handle FMLA and ADA paperwork and keep department heads informed of team member status.
- Help to ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws and submit required reports.
Qualifications and Attributes
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Business.
- At least two years of experience in a human resources or people-focused role.
- Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
- Experience in processing payroll is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Schedule:
- This position is available for part-time or full-time employment. Hours may vary depending on the season and payroll needs. Payroll processing occurs every other Monday and will be a key responsibility. While consistency around payroll dates is important, we are flexible with the rest of the schedule and happy to work with the right candidate to find a rhythm that suits both your availability and our seasonal operations. The work location is primarily on-site.
